2019 Design Team Call

Hello everyone!

Lets Get Sketchy is looking to add 2-4 more members to add to our already fabulous Design Team. The DT term will run from January 1, 2019 through June 1, 2019 and  could very well be extended after that time. You will be responsible for 2 layouts a month as well as commenting on entries each week.  I am only looking for dedicated members who do not mind commenting on entries and are able to upload their projects promptly.  

Why apply for our team? 

• To be inspired and to inspire others 
• You will be a part of an amazing group of women and develop lifelong friendships with women from all over the world. 
• Your work will be featured on Facebook and Instagram.

What is expected of our Design Team? 

• You MUST be a follower of our blog
• Complete 1-2 projects a month (you will be given challenges at least a month in advance). 
• Comment on participants entries (THIS IS A MUST!).  Any team member not adhering to this rule will be promptly removed from the team so please make sure you can do this before applying. 
• Commit to a 6 month term (Beginning  March 1, 2022) 
• Keep an active blog that is updated frequently 
• Post our challenge and your project on your blog on reveal day and link back to the LGS blog.

Update: Hello ladies.  As stated in the original post this was an open call meaning I could close it at any time. I truly thank all of you who applied and those of you who planned to apply.  I will take applications up until May 28, 2014 @ 5:00 p.m. CST.  I have received so many wonderful applications thus far and expect to receive many more.  I have to close the call now to maintain my own sanity lol.  I find it so hard to say "no" or "not this time".  I had no idea the amount of feedback/applications we would receive, you ladies are awesome!  If you don't make the cut this time, please stay tuned for our next call!

Design Team Call Ended

Hello everyone,  our DT call is now concluded.  As stated in the original post, this was an open call giving me the option to close it once I felt we had enough candidates.  That time has come.  We had such an overwhelming amount of applicants!  I wish I could have selected each and everyone of them but I cannot.

The LGS Design Team is currently reviewing applications and making their selections   Please be on the lookout for our new team members bios starting this weekend and their first reveal in June.  If you did not get a chance to apply this time, please dont worry, we will have another call soon.

Design Team Call  for Sketch Designers!!

I am looking for at least 2 new Sketch Designers to supplement our Design Team.

Requirements:

·                     create a minimum of 1-2 sketches per month

·                     create 2 layouts a month for Lets Get Sketchy

·                     you must have a blog

·                     promote Lets Get Sketchy through your blog

·                     must commit to a 3 month term

Compensation:

At this time I am unable to compensate you with product or any form of financial payment.  This will be for the fun and love of the hobby!

Welcome & Design Team Call UPDATED

Hello everyone and welcome to Lets Get Sketchy, a brand new sketch site!   As scrappers we all LOVE sketches, it takes a lot of the pain out of scrapping!  So I have decided to create a sketch site for that purpose and need your help.

To get started I am looking for a few talented and creative scrappers to be on my design team.  If you like sketches then this is the site for you!  I am looking for a design team AND and sketch team.  Your terms would run March 1st through Sept. 1st.   The design team would be asked to complete 2 layouts per month from a given sketch and the sketch team would only be asked to create newly sketches for Lets Get Sketchy. 

If you are interested and would like to be considered for a position then here is what you need to do:

1.  Create a layout from the sketch below

2.  Post about the DT call on your blog along with your layout from the sketch

3.  Leave a comment below telling me that you would like to be considered for a position and which position you are applying for.  Make sure you include the link to your blog where your layout is and your email address.

**What do our Designers get in return?

The gratification of showcasing your talent for all to see and be on the ground breaking floor of a new sketch site.  Designers will have a permanent link to their blog (or homepage) on our site.
