Hello everyone and welcome to our 2017 Design Team Reveal! I so appreciate each and every one of you who took the time to apply and please know that just because you were not selected this time is not a knock against your talent. There were just so many application to choose from. It was a very difficult decision in that my "2-4" turned into 7 new members!
In as much as we are welcoming new members, we are also saying good-bye to several members of our team.....Buffy, Helene, Jacqui, Kate, Naomi and Masami. I do appreciate all the time, talent and effort they have brought to the LGS team and I do hope that you will play along with us from time to time!
Now without further ado, let's meet the newest members of the Let's Get Sketchy Design Team!
Hi! I'm Nadia and I'm an scrapoholic :))))
I live in Moscow, love travel, dogs, draw and yoga. I started to scrap 6 years ago and I can't stop. And I think scrapbooking is the best thing that can happen with our photos. So we can tell a story, share emotions, remember it. For me it is also a way of relaxation, not just a hobby))

Hi my name is Joanna Ford and I'm from sunny Queensland, Australia. I am a chef in an Aged Care Facility and a cub scout leader with our local sea scouts which gives me lots of photos to scrap with. I first started scrap-booking back in 2000 when I went on a working holiday to the US and scrap-booking was first starting. Well that was 17 years ago and this year I decided that I was going to step out of my little creating space and share it with the world. I am on a couple of design teams over here in the land down under and my dearest friend owns and runs my local scrap-booking shop with her husband, (which makes it easy to shop.....LOL). My Fav colour is green and I try to sneak it in to most of the layouts I create. I can't wait to see the layouts you all come up with......... Chat Soon

I started scrapbooking in about 2001 when a neighbour opened her own homebased business back in South Africa ... and I have been hooked ever since! We moved to New Zealand in 2010, and we love living here. It's through scrapbooking that I have met the most amazing people and have gained some really close friends! I am very much a girly girl - love flowers, glitters and bling.
Those that know me, will say I have more than enough flowers, and that is always my go to when I go scrapbook shopping. My kids are all grown up now - my son is 24 this year and my daughter 21. I scrap my daughter more often than my son - my son does not like having his photo taken. I draw my greatest inspiration off Di Garling, Gabrielle Pollaco, Frank Garcia and Anna Dabrowska (aka Finnabair) to name a few. Sometimes I will get ideas froom looking through the likes of Pinterest, and various facebook pages. There is some seriously great talent out there!
“Hello Everyone, I’m Ginny, I live in Wales in the UK. I am a married mother of two gorgeous children who you will get to see a lot in my scrapbooking along with a very patient and obliging husband and my beloved dog Evie, a Labradoodle! I was introduced to scrapbooking by my Mother, who also scrapbooks, about 8 years ago and have been addicted to it ever since! It’s my ‘happy place’, I love creating and making but it also shares my love for photography and keeping all those photos and memories.
My style, I would say is shabby chic, romantic, girly, distressed, neutrals, layers, lots of flowers and I do like to include some mixed media. But having said that I will reach out of my comfort zone and get more colourful and masculine, as I do like to experiment! I am so excited to be joining the Let’s Get Sketchy Design Team. I have always loved entering these LGS challenges so am very honored to hopefully inspire you all with my layouts as part of the design team with all the other talented ladies!
I can’t wait to get started!
Happy Scrapping
Ginny
My
name is Mandy, I’m 39 years old and live together with my partner in Dresden,
Germany. In June 2014 I started my discovery & adventure of the whole world
of scrapbooking, project life, mixed-media etc. – so all creative things with
papers, punching & stamping. I love
to try different materials & techniques and my style is still under
development… but I like it if the colors are bright and the things have a fresh
look. For this I would currently describe my scrapbooking style as clean,
layered & full of colors. Some of my favorite items are hand stitching, die
cuts and stamps… my absolutely favorite elements are little gold highlights
here and there as well as flowers & butterflies, respectively... I am ecstatic to be joining the Let’s get
Sketchy design team… I hope you will
find some inspiration in my work using the amazing Let’s get Sketchy sketches!

Hello there, my name is Michelle Kim and I absolutely love being creative. My tribe of five children keep me very busy and are my source of my inspiration. I'm enjoying my journey and have scrapbooked for over 7 years and still loving it.I love remembering the details of my life through photos and my stories. Everyone has the freedom to create using their own style and that's what makes it so personal. I would say my style has evolved from simple to include the mixed media trend. How exciting it is to still be discovering new ways to express myself and share with other like minded creative people. Thank you for sharing your passion for creating with us.
My mom Sunila and I Aditi , started Dots to Lines and our forte is home decor, mixed media, scrapbooking and altered art. Sunila has a diploma in commercial art, and displays her artworks in various galleries across the world. She has also worked as a Graphic Designer at Hameed Mugal, Kenya. With a MSc. in Clinical Psychology and Dip. in Special Education, I took up arts and crafts since school days and also practiced art therapy when working with children with special needs. I have also completed an art course from School of Visual Arts, New York.
Crafting, thus has been a part of daily activities mostly in the form of various altered projects, or making gifts. We are into paper-crafting, layouts, journaling, card-making and scrapbooking. Our style of art and craft is a fusion of techniques and usage of vibrant colours. We aim to spread joy.
We are so elated to have these talented bunch of women join the LGS team. I promise you, you will not be disappointed with the inspiration they will provide to you! Please make sure you join us tomorrow for their first reveal!

With a history of owning my own business in graphic design, I managed to work creativity into my work life. These days, I get to do it simply for enjoyment. I like anything creative basically and so I really do love to scrapbook as well as off the page projects. I dabble in mixed media and intend to do much more of that as time progresses. Journaling I have done a bit of, but not too much as I always struggle with pointlessness and so I am still trying to find the point of journaling for me personally. I live on an acre in Brisbane, Australia with about 30 chickens plus about 10 roosters and our 2 rescue beagles. Creativity for me is a daily need, like taking a breath, I can be found at my creative station usually all day and always well into the night.
