August In The Spotlight-Barbara Greenberg

Hello there Let’s Get Sketchy!  As you know we are doing something new here at LGS.  We are spotlighting some of our faithful followers and participants of our challenges.  This is our way of letting you know we truly appreciate you taking the time to participate in our challenges.

Our next spotlighted follower is one of our faithful followers who we can depend on to always have an entry for our sketch challenges!  She has been a LGS follower and participant for quite some time now and she participates in pretty much EVERY challenge. We can always depend on her to join each of our challenges each month.  So without further ado, our August Follower in the Spotlight is………..Barbara Greenberg!

A little bit about  Barbara:

Hi, my name is Barbara Greenberg from Kansas City, MO.  I was so thrilled to be chosen to be spotlighted here at Let’s Get Sketchy.  I love using sketches for my layouts so I always check here for the latest sketch and get right to work on it.  Between my husband Arthur and me, we have 4 kids and 6 grandkids so it’s usually the grandkids that I’m featuring on my layouts.  Although I also love looking through old pictures and making layouts from the “olden days”.

I don’t really have a style that I’m aware of.  Lately I've been doing more matting and a lot of faux stitching.  I didn't start scrapping till about 6 years ago, but I became immediately addicted.  It is a rare day that you won’t find me at my desk making a layout.  I have at least one album for each of my kids and each grandchildren as well as various vacation albums, holiday albums and Christmas albums.   Plus the miscellaneous albums that collect a bit of everything in them.  I recently made my first Project Life page.   I won’t be making one each week, but I think its going to be fun to make one featuring a week every now and then and be able to look back at them in the years to come.  I hope if you look at my blog you will become a follower.
