Design Team Reveal-Welcome!!

First let me say THANK YOU to all of you wonderful ladies who applied to be a member of the LGS Design Team.  I will tell you, I had a hard time narrowing it down to a few select members. Because the applications were so voluminous, I was not able to send each and every one of you an email regarding the team so I only sent out to those who made the team. For those of you who did not make it this time, please do not let my decision deter you from the next call we have and please know that it is no indication of your talent or skills.  We will have another call again soon so please keep your eyes open and try again.  Also, play along with our challenges, we love seeing your work!  Now without further ado, I introduce the newest talented  members of the Let's Get Sketchy Design Team!!!

Hello! I'm Mabel Sim from Singapore. I first started out being a card-maker and decided to venture into making layouts as a challenge from my other crafty friends as well as making beautiful pieces to preserve those beautiful memories.  Mixed Media is my style as I like the unlimited possibility of colors as well as how unpredictable they can be yet so forgiving when I make a mistake somehow. I recommend you try that if you haven't. I usually provides step-by-step instructions on my blog. You can visit me at www.mabsdesigns.blogspot.com. Cheers!

My name is Marie, I am 38.  I was born in Seoul, South Korea.   I was adopted in Belgium when I was 6 months that's why I look asian ;-).I am a french speaker. I live with my son Tristan (14) and My husband Michaël.  I studied arts and I have been working as a hotel manager for 4 years now.  I discovered scrapbooking about 13 years ago in the US and I imediately loved it.  At the time we almost couldn't find any products in Europe.  They really started to come out here about 8 years ago which is a really good thing.  I am a fan of Ali Edwards (I will attend one of her classes next Sunday in Version Scrap, Paris) & Heidi Swapp and many others.  I don't know how to discribe my style, it depends on my mood.  I like traditionnal scrap, mix media, ...  I love papers, inks, alphabets, stickers, masking tape, badges, kits...I like working from a sketch, a combo or other instructions, it gives me a point start.  Apart from scrapbooking, I like drawing, painting, photography, decoration, travelling, other cultures, world cuisines, discovering, learning, sharing things, chihuahuas

Hi! My name is Sue Smith and I live in the sunny, north of New Zealand. I have been married for over 40 years (married far too young!), have three children and three grandchildren! I have been scrapping for about 15 years and love, LOVE it! After teenagers and weddings to scrap, i now mostly scrap my beautiful little grandies!! Too many photos, not enough hours!!  I love to try different scrapping styles, which is why I have enough scrapping supplies of every kind to last forever. Sorry kids! In order to get more done, this year, my motto is ‘KISS’ (Keep It Simple Sue). I’ll try!!

My name is Lauren Tomecek and I'm currently living on the Gold Coast, Australia with my husband of three years and our 8 month old son, Harrison. I have been scrapping for about eight years now, I started when we moved up from Melbourne to reduce the home sickness. My husband is very supportive of my hobby and will dutifully view and comment on all the creations I place between him and the TV. :) I'm a full-time government employee, though currently on maternity leave, and love being able to create beautiful LO's to remember family moments. To me it doesn't matter if it's a special event or just an everyday moment, I think they all make up part of the story and deserve to be recorded.
Hi I'm Nidhi (Asst. Blog Coordinator) ,34 years old mother of two lovely kids whom you will see in most of my work. I'm originally from India but moved to Singapore one year back. I was very inclined to making handmade cards from a very young age. I would make invite cards for my sisters birthday parties...then later for my daughter. Its only when i came to know about the big shot machine that my interest grew more n more to scrapbooking.... when i came to Singapore last year i was introduced to scrapbooking ,mixed media workshops and got aware of various scrapbooking mediums and styles. So I'm pretty new and still a learner till now... I have loved it so much that just can't stop...Now i participate in many online challenges its really fun and thats how i came to know about Lets Get Sketchy...Really looking forward to work with this wonderful team:)You can see my work at my blog sayitwithcraft.blogspot.sg

My name is Laëtitia PAUCHET, trinity on the blogosphere. I’m French. I live in Dunkirk, in the North of France with my concubbin and my two boys (3 years and 1 year).  I started doing pages in 2012 further to the birth of my son but I really began at the end of 2013 during my maternity leave. Thanks to my parental leave, I have time to scrap.  My number one topic is my children. I like more particularly the mixed media and the thorough work. When I begin a page, I use systematically the gesso, neocolors II, masks...I like having my fingers dirty with paints and mists :-D I also love to make videos and tutorials.  To share this passion with other people passionate like me enchants me enormously. I would like to say thank you to LGS for giving me the chance to join the Dream Team !!!

Hi everyone.
I'm Masami, and I'm living in New Jersey, US with my loving husband and our 2 vibrant boys.  I heard about scrapbooking from my closest friends almost 6 years ago, and since then I've been into the world of scrapbooking!  It is my most precious time working on my pages with our family photos.
I'm Eri Kanai. I live in Japan with 4 children.  It's fun and inevitable that a crop does them.
You can see my work at http://maumaucrop. blogspot.jp/
Hi! I am Sayaka.
I live in Tokyo JAPAN with my husband and my son (9 years old) and my daughter (7years old).  My favorite SB style is creating 12 inch layouts simply, using inspirable sketch!

Hi, My name is Elisa. I live in a small coastal city in New South Wales, Australia with my husband and two boys. I have a Law Degree but at the moment I am working part time as a Merchandiser for several craft companies and taxi service for my two boys. I have been scrapbooking for 10 years but have only recently ventured into the online scrapbooking world of blogging and challenge sites. My scrapping style varies from clean lines and white space to the other end of the spectrum of mixed media with messy paint, stencils, sprays and inks being a favourite.  I love documenting all aspects of our life in a creative way. I also love photography, camping, kayaking, archery, reading and spending time at the beach and spending time with family and friends.
